Sauter started building pianos nearly 200 years ago. The founder Johann Grimm learned his trade from Johann Andreas Streicher in Vienna, who built Beethoven´s instruments. Today, Sauter are officially ranked alongside Hamburg Steinway, C. Bechstein and Bosendorfer.
