Correct and constant string tension is important to the health of the many delicate piano parts – parts that can be very expensive to fix. Piano Tuning help these parts work together smoothly, preventing damage to (and from) neighboring pieces. It is recommended that pianos be tuned twice a year.

At Montague Pianos, we understand that sometimes plans change and you may need to cancel or reschedule your piano tuning appointment. To help us manage our schedule and continue providing the best service to all our clients, we kindly request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment.

This notice period allows us sufficient time to fill the slot and reorganize our piano tuner’s schedule. Unfortunately, for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will need to charge a cancellation fee. This fee helps to cover the time allocated for your appointment and ensures our tuners are compensated for their reserved time.
