I’ve been teaching piano in Tring for over 10 years. I teach a wide variety of ages and abilities, from 6 to retired and beginners to advanced. I take a holistic approach, connecting the whole body and mind to playing the piano, and I tailor lessons to the individual. I am happy to prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity or MTB exams, or help them play just for fun. My aim is to make lessons as fun and relevant as possible, helping the student to get the most out of their lessons. Lessons take place in my home in Tring.
I began my musical training aged four years old and continue learning to this day to further my professional development – and for my own pleasure! I have a degree in Music and Italian, LRSM (piano teaching), dipABRSM (piano performance), grade 8 theory, grade 8 violin and grade 6 drum kit. I have taught national curriculum music to KS2 children and am DBS checked. I am also available to accompany instrumental exams.
